About Sarah:

I believe in tailoring therapy to the needs of the individual while adapting a client centred, open, and warm approach. I practice within an evidence-based framework and use a variety of interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness strategies.

I work with a range of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, stress management, adjustment issues and grief associated with chronic health conditions, behavioural management, interpersonal difficulties, and self-esteem issues. I have clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both school, hospital, and community settings, providing individual and group-based interventions that vary from brief to long-term therapeutic engagement.

I am passionate about working with people across the lifespan in the treatment of mental health-related issues from a holistic perspective, with a focus on empowering clients and improving their mental health and wellbeing.
