About Andrew:
I am a passionate client-centered therapist who works in an evidence-based psychological framework, incorporating a range of different approaches and tailored to your individual needs. Part and parcel of my work is treating all individuals with professionalism, respect, and compassion. I strive to create a non-judgemental therapeutic space where we can work on clarifying and achieving your therapeutic goals in a collaborative manner.
I have worked with individuals and couples of a wide variety of ages and backgrounds, presenting with a wide range of personal concerns and psychological difficulties. I have experience in hospital and community-based settings. I draw upon, but am not limited to, the following approaches in my work: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness meditation, couple therapy, and existential approaches.
I am committed to lifelong learning and continual development of my clinical skills. I have a daily mindfulness meditation practice, and incorporate these principles in my everyday life.
