About Graeme:
I have over 16-years of experience in working as a psychologist with clients who have grappled with a wide range of difficulties. I work with adults, adolescents and couples, and use an Integrative approach, which is based on building an authentic, compassionate and deeply caring connection with my clients as they are equipped with tools that they can utilise to build a greater sense of satisfaction and healing in their lives. I collaboratively tailor each therapeutic intervention to my client’s individual needs by drawing upon the following broad range therapeutic modalities: person-centred theory, psychodynamic theory, attachment therapy, and
CBT.
I have a special interest in working with the following range of client issues: depression, anxiety and self-esteem; developing emotional intelligence; anger management; understanding and breaking old psychological patterns; navigating difficult ‘life stage’ transitions; grief and bereavement; work-related stress, including change of career and the stress that accompanies being an entrepreneur.
Over the years, I have also lectured in psychology at a tertiary (university) level and delivered expert psychological testimony in court proceedings. I am passionate about facilitating growth, insight and healing and I realise that it is truly a privilege to accompany my clients along their deeply personal therapeutic journeys.
